Patricia Urquiola's 2016 interiors for this Piazza del Duomo-adjacent hotel deploy terrazzo, sculptural lighting, and a warm palette of ochre and rust that gives a Milanese heritage building a resolutely Italian contemporary character.

A 15th-century Renaissance convent on Via Gesù between Montenapoleone and della Spiga, restored to a 118-key hotel in 1993 with original cloisters, frescoes and an 18th-century lobby fireplace intact. Patricia Urquiola redid the public floors, restaurant Zelo and Bar Stilla in 2021; Pierre-Yves Rochon delivered a complete room and suite renovation in 2025; BAMO designed the function spaces. Urquiola's 2012 spa downstairs runs a 14m indoor lap pool.

Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel's 104-key restoration of four 18th-century buildings on Via Andegari — originally Palazzo Confalonieri (manor house), then the city's tax office, then a Cassa di Risparmio bank — knit together as a single dimora milanese with grand inner courtyards. Antonio Guida runs both kitchens: Mandarin Bar & Bistrot and the two-Michelin-star Seta (the Duomo Private Dining Room is a Fornasetti commission).
