Hôtel de Crillon
The 1758 Place de la Concorde palace by Ange-Jacques Gabriel — Louis XV's royal architect — became the Hôtel de Crillon in 1909, and reopened as a Rosewood hotel in July 2017 after a four-year restoration led by Beirut-born architect Aline Asmar d'Amman with Tristan Auer (rooms and suites), Chahan Minassian (signature suites), and Karl Lagerfeld, who designed the two Grands Appartements before his death. The 124 rooms and suites face the Place de la Concorde and the Tuileries; dining runs through the Brasserie d'Aumont, the marble-walled Bar Les Ambassadeurs, and the Jardin d'Hiver.
