Gary Handel's 277-key Market Street tower opened 2001 in the Yerba Buena Arts District — Frank Nicholson did the original interiors, Meyer Davis came back in 2018 to refresh, with custom carpets and drapery patterned on the city's fog. MKT Restaurant under Shaun Acosta runs the dining program; the hotel shares an 82-foot lap pool and the spa with Equinox Sports Club one floor down.
