With a remarkable rating of 4.8 and over 1,500 glowing reviews, this resort features breathtaking ocean views, pristine pools, and world-class dining options that cater to every palate. Located just 15 minutes from the airport, yet enveloped in tranquility amidst manicured grounds, it offers an idyllic setting for relaxation and adventure alike.

Guests are treated to exceptional service that is warm, attentive, and steeped in the spirit of aloha. Families will find joy in the resort's extensive amenities, such as a large saltwater pond stocked with vibrant fish, making it a perfect spot for swimming and snorkeling. Dining experiences are equally remarkable, with an extensive breakfast buffet that rivals the finest hotels worldwide, all served with stunning ocean views just a few feet away. Hill Glazier's 249-key low-rise resort opened September 1996 on the ancient Ka'ūpūlehu fishing-village land on the Big Island's Kona coast — James Northcutt and Wilson Associates did the original interiors, Babey Moulton Jue & Booth and BAMO refreshed in stages. Five kitchens including Tyler Florence's Miller & Lux steakhouse and Nuri Piccio's NOIO sushi room (2025 'Ilima Award). Jack Nicklaus 18-hole course; the 1.8-million-gallon King's Pond aquarium is its own attraction.

The resort itself is stunning — lush gardens, ocean views, and a layout that makes it feel both expansive and intimate at the same time. Every restaurant offers thoughtfully crafted…”

“From the moment we got off the plane to the moment we left it was such a 5 star experience. I am writing this review a bit late. We went in May 2025 with my husband and my 9 month old at the time. The restaurants they have there are superb. The rooms were very clean and had a beautiful outdoor shower. The service was g…”

“The property itself is beautiful and very spread out. Incredible stargazing right at the resort. Rooms are ok- somewhat dated in my opinion. Self service laundry and Dyson hair dryer were a nice touch. Food was great. All staff were very friendly and kind, however the concierge was of the worst we’ve experienced at any…”

Though the ocean was a bit rough for our stay, there is a large saltwater pond just inside the beach, stocked with 1,000 fish…”
