About
A 134-key Georgian manor on a 500-acre Hampshire estate that appears in the 1086 Domesday Book — site of Henry VIII's first meeting with Catherine of Aragon, with a 16th-century dovecote and an 18th-century stable block (now the spa) intact. Nicolas Khalili led the 2005 conversion; RPW Design did the rooms, Martin Brudnizki the dining (Wild Carrot, modern British), Peter Inston the spa. Three pools, falconry, canal-boating, clay shooting, and three tennis and golf options on the grounds.
