I am a Marriott Titanium member. Although I used points for the reservation, the staff did not inform me of my Titanium benefits during check-in. When I inquired about welcome points, they told me points-redeemed rooms don't qualify and even mocked me with contempt. However, after verifying with Marriott customer service, according to Marriott's membership policy, even points-redeemed stays at this design hotel should earn 1,000 welcome points. I checked in on February 24th and checked out on the 25th. To date, I have not received the stay or welcome points for this points-redeemed stay. Meanwhile, I received both the stay and welcome points for my points-redeemed stay at the Sheraton, where I checked in on the 25th and checked out on the 26th. For whatever reason, the staff at this hotel were unfamiliar with the group's membership policies and showed a lack of respect for the customer. I traveled throughout Italy for 12 days, staying exclusively at Marriott hotels. This issue occurred only at this property; staff at all other hotels were exceptionally welcoming.

My husband and I recently stayed at The Straf Hotel in Milan for New Year's Week, and we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional experience we had there. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was welcoming and enjoyable. Each member of the staff was exceptionally kind and attentive ! We would like to thank DELARA, ANNA AND AXEL for going above and beyond and making our stay there so enjoyable. They were so welcoming and entertaining. We had a great time just seeing them every time we walked into the lobby. They were also so knowledgeable in answering our many questions and taking their time helping us with whatever we needed. Thank you for being amazing. 🙏🏼😘💟 The hotel is beautiful, modern, unique, spotless, and super comfy. Plus, its location is just perfection ! It's right there by the Duomo, The Vittorio Emanuele Mall, shopping, restaurants, bars and many more ! They offer a nice breakfast every morning, which included a juice bar, which we were actually impressed by. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to go back again soon ! Do not stay in Room 301, it is surrounded by Staff elevator and Staff closet and noisy throughout the day. The worst part was the bathroom. The stained bathtub was painted BLACK which still couldn't cover the disgusting stains!! I tried to cancel the rest of my 3 day visit the moment I went into the bathroom (also no real vanity). The best part of this experience is the Duomo and Galleria location, the bar was cute especially the outdoor seating which was a big pedestrian draw. This is not what I would consider a Marriott Design Hotel.

Location is perfect inside thw duomo area 1 minute walking to the Cathedral yard. Rooms are not so big, but a very comfortable space that fits 2 people with each luggage. Very good room service and housekeeping, rooms are very clean. You will fins a problem if you will look for a parking in the area if you come in the afternoom time. However, if at night, then you will find a parking spot. Would recommend this place for people who want to be close to the duomo area.
