Paramount House Hotel

Phenomenal hotel. It’s stylish and comfortable. The location is great—in Surry Hills away from the more touristy sections of the city where most other hotels are. The staff is warm and accommodating and treat guests with respect and patience. The food in the restaurants is superb—especially the Paramount Coffee Project which is extremely popular with locals for breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. My one critique: some rooms feature an awkward Japanese style tub shower. These rooms would be greatly improved with an upgrade to the shower.

We had a wonderful stay at Paramount House. Great location between the CBD (and fabulous runs through the park to Lady Macquarie Chair) and Crown Street’s restaurants and shops. The rooms are great, the popular breakfast cafe fantastic, and service very friendly and accommodating.

Have just spent at week at paramount and i cant recommend it enough. i was fortunate enough to be in the suite and it was divine, everything i needed for the week. the bed is beyond comfortable, the heating was great, it was quiet and the balcony was beautiful for me to have my morning coffee on. the towels were soft, the linen bed sheet and quilt was so soft and wonderful . the front desk staff are exceptional, nothing was a problem. went to poly for dinner on last night and it was also lovely, highly recommend. AP bakery over rated but still yummy. only negative is the smell of damp in the bathroom. cant wait to come back for another stay JUST LOVED THIS HOTEL!!!!

This weekend away was almost a year in the making and lived up to every second of it. Stayed in a loft room, team were so friendly and helpful, with lovely attention to detail like providing a table cloth for room service. The room was gorgeous, spacious, luxurious feeling while being warm and comforting. Yes, that bath is as good as it looks. Endless hot water, deep and fills so fast. Linnen sheets and bedding was beautiful, as we're the Aesop amenities and the local tea and coffee. Thanks for a great stay!
