We stayed at the hotel in February, 2026. The concept of the hotel itself is outstanding. In our opinion, it is the best hotel in Courchevel. Even though the hotel was fully booked, there was never a feeling of crowds. The atmosphere remained intimate, private, and serene at all times. The soundproofing deserves special recognition. We were accommodated in a room opposite the lift, and based on previous experiences in other hotels, this is usually quite noisy and uncomfortable. Here, however, we experienced almost complete silence. Only once did we briefly hear a child in the corridor — otherwise, the room was perfectly quiet. The level of acoustic insulation is exceptional. We were also impressed by how thoughtfully everything is designed. The presence of a humidifier in the room was a remarkable detail — something we have not encountered elsewhere in Courchevel. At this altitude, it makes a significant difference, and without it the stay would have been much less comfortable. The design of the hotel is elegant and refined, and the overall atmosphere is calm, dignified, and beautiful. What truly makes the experience extraordinary, however, is the people. Every single team member — from the restaurant staff to the ski room attendants and spa team — was warm, professional, and perfectly aligned with the hotel’s understated luxury. A special mention must go to the concierge team. They made our stay genuinely unforgettable. They secured restaurant reservations, including venues that are notoriously difficult to book, handled every request with efficiency and grace, and demonstrated exceptional professionalism. When our son had a minor health issue, a doctor was arranged and arrived within approximately 30 minutes. The level of care and personal attention was remarkable. Despite the hotel being fully booked, we consistently felt as though we were the only and most important guests. We greatly appreciated the early check-in, which was kindly arranged for us. The half-board concept is also exceptional — not a nominal arrangement, but a truly premium dining experience in some of the best restaurants in Courchevel. The in-house restaurant, Nama, was excellent as well. Breakfast deserves particular praise. Without exaggeration, these are the best breakfasts in Courchevel — exceptionally delicious, varied, and healthy. The selection is extensive, the quality is outstanding, and the team is happy to prepare dishes even if they are not on the menu. The included minibar is another thoughtful touch that enhances the overall experience. Housekeeping was flawless — the cleanest rooms we have ever experienced. The bathroom and bathtub were maintained to an impeccable standard. Even on the day of departure, the room was serviced, which is rare and greatly appreciated. The nightly gifts were another delightful detail. Each evening we returned to find a beautifully curated gift — not generic souvenirs, but high-quality, useful, and thoughtfully selected items. The spa is, without doubt, one of the best in Courchevel. Despite the hotel operating at full capacity, the spa area never felt crowded. The sauna is spacious and beautifully designed, the hammam is generous, and the Japanese sauna is a unique highlight. The pool area is elegant and serene. The location is ideal — directly on the Bellecôte slope, just moments from 1850. Our room overlooking the piste offered stunning views. Above all, what stands out is the personal approach. The team remembers your name, greets you warmly, and responds to every request with genuine care. The concierge team, in particular, approached all our needs with sincerity and attention. Overall, it was an exceptional experience in every respect — refined, calm, and flawlessly executed.

A loyal guest of the Aman hotel group — their hospitality is usually exceptional and I choose Aman whenever possible. While Courchevel is understandably expensive, for a rate of over €4,000 per night the room layout was disappointing. The room was not small, but the organization was poorly designed: the entrance opens directly onto the sleeping area, the second room felt unnecessary, the sofa area was uncomfortable due to cold from the mirrors, and the bathroom was extremely small, suitable for only one person. Housekeeping also had issues: cleaning was inconsistent, some details were often missed and on several occasions staff entered the room late in the evening, even when we had not been in the room all day. the rest of the experience was excellent. Outstanding concierge service, very welcoming restaurant hostesses, thoughtful daily gifts for guests and a lovely personalized postcard at checkout showing attention to preferences. Breakfast was à la carte with a good selection (though fresh salmon would be preferable to only smoked). The spa and gym were spacious, clean and well maintained. Overall, exceptional service and atmosphere, but room design and housekeeping do not fully match the price point.

Aman Le Melezin: An Ultimate Stay That Makes You Rethink What Aman Is Aman Le Melezin is a ski resort by Aman Resorts located in Courchevel 1850, France, right in the heart of Les Trois Vallées, with an ideal location directly connected to one of the world's largest ski areas. This hotel embodies Aman's quiet luxury while incorporating the charm of a traditional French chateau. My stay was truly a great opportunity to rethink "what is Aman?" In this increasingly commercialized world, I felt a warmth like returning home, along with a private spirit that liberated me from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Location: Perfect Positioning Directly Connected to the Slopes The greatest appeal of Aman Le Melezin lies in its location. Situated facing the Bellecôte slopes in Courchevel, it allows for ski-in/ski-out access, enabling seamless skiing from morning to evening. Reviews praise it as "the location is wonderful," with the surrounding majestic Alpine views making you forget everyday life. In my case, only the Family Suite was available at the time of booking, so I chose it, but the two bedrooms faced the slopes, and opening the window let in the cold mountain air, allowing views of skiers descending. It was a wonderful room. The hotel has connections with places like Le Chalet de Pierres, and there is no better place to spend time in Courchevel. Aman Spirit: Home-Like Warmth and Non-Commercial Luxury The Aman spirit refers to tranquility, privacy, and genuine hospitality, and here it was felt to the utmost. From the welcome onward, it was the most welcoming experience I've had so far. The staff's warmth felt natural, like welcoming family, rather than a commercial service, melting my heart. Reviews describe it as "a wonderful experience like a home away from home," which is spot on. The pool and spa are understated, maintaining the Aman spirit while providing a relaxing space. Through this stay, I rediscovered that Aman is "unobtrusive, subtle quality luxury." Service and Attention to Detail: Flexible and Heartfelt Response The quality of service is outstanding, with meticulous care shining throughout. In pre-arrival communications, they thoroughly supported my daily schedule. Not only ski and lift arrangements, but also lunch at a restaurant next to the slopes, arrangements for the mountaintop club, and evenings with fondue, local cuisine, and even Japanese food. The schedule changed quite a bit due to my child's jet lag and my wife's poor health, to the point where I felt sorry, but they cooperated flexibly, and I was truly grateful. Such personalized service is the essence of Aman. At the ski lodge, there were always three or more staff on hand, ensuring no waiting for departures or arrivals, and they provided abundant support with their expert knowledge. For breakfast, I ordered whatever I wanted from the menu in any amount, and they adjusted finely to my preferences. Reviews also rave that "the staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient." Numerous Experiences: Diverse Activities Enjoyable for the Family The abundance of experiences is what makes this hotel so appealing. While centered on skiing, there are various options like the underground wellness center, Japanese-style dining, and cigar room. The kids' room was amazing, exceeding expectations. The nannies were kind, and even children not skiing could enjoy it. The serene atmosphere and treatments at the spa are perfect for relaxation after skiing. Additionally, the two restaurants allow for meals and cocktails while enjoying the views. Overall, Aman Le Melezin is not just a ski resort but a oasis for the soul. This experience deepened my understanding of Aman's essence, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend it for families or those seeking luxury skiing.
