Had a very pleasant dining experience at JAAN by Kirk Westaway. The food felt elegant and thoughtful, with each dish perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. Nothing felt excessive or overworked, there was a quiet confidence in the cooking, where everything was refined and composed without trying too hard to impress. The flavours were clean and precise, allowing the ingredients to speak for themselves. There’s a certain restraint that makes the experience feel very intentional. The ambience and view are also wonderful, creating a calm and intimate setting that complements the food well. Service was impeccable, attentive, warm and seamless throughout the afternoon.

This was my third time coming to JAAN, but the first time as a 2 michelin star restaurant. The decor has become more elegant and minimalistic somewhat. The tasting menu was very tasty, with standouts such as the goose moose tart topped with fried celeriac. The old hen’s dish was very delicious too with the umami of the yolk really coming through and accentuated by the buttery mushroom brioche. The line caught seabass was perfectly flaky and flavored by a touch of seaweed, the scallops were so sweet and the fish reduction sauce was really intense. The waygu steak wrapped by crispy chicken skin was very innovative but felt a little oily and heavy, with the accompanying foie and jus. The breads were delicious especially with the devonshire butter with lemon thyme. And the cheese board was outstanding, especially accompanied by the 2004 port that they offer with the cheeses. We had a bottle of 2011 austrian vetliner which was just fantastic. The desserts were delicious as well, especially the caramel pear, such delicate pastry with a beautiful caramel flavor coming through. A nice place to visit for a special occasion.

Had a really nice experience at Jaan by Kirk Westaway. The food was great - refined and seasonal, but still very approachable. Each course felt thoughtful without being overly complicated, and everything tasted clean and well balanced. It’s the kind of fine dining that feels effortless rather than stiff. We were lucky to have a table with a view of Marina Bay Sands; watching it change from daytime into nighttime while we ate was honestly a highlight. Service was relaxed, friendly, and on point, which really added to the overall vibe. A great spot for a long, enjoyable meal where the food and the view both really shine.

Extremely awesome fine dining experience! The appetizers were the best appetizers I have ever had among ten-ish 1-3 stars Michelin restaurants. Very fresh flavor with clear characteristics of each ingredient. The main dishes (seabass and venison) were very satisfying that the sauce brought out the freshness and flavor of the meat. The mini pancake with caviar was a great combination that we asked for more 😆 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐is not enough to the server! I don't remember her name but she is a Taiwanese and she did very well and clear introduction to each dish. The great service was definitely a critical factor for us to have an unforgivable fine dining experience. In total it cost around 450 SGD per person with 5 course lunch plus pre-order caviar, no wine pairing. It was expensive but it was worthy.
