We had a wonderful experience at Ojo. The food was genuinely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor from start to finish. The atmosphere is elevated by an incredible view, which really makes the whole dining experience feel special. The service deserves a special mention — Reindeer took great care of us throughout the evening. Attentive, friendly, and professional without being intrusive. It made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Overall, great service, amazing views, and very good food. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for a memorable dining experience in Bangkok.

The Ojo Mexican-inspired restaurant is part of the Standard Hotel associated with Hyatt, but is not located in the hotel, but adjacent in the VERY tall building where tourists come to explore the view from level 75!!! Getting up to the restaurant proved a small challenge; we were informed to lock our bags away in a locker. No one could, as usual, explain WHY, and it provided a bit of frustration as it could have been explained beforehand. Once we had made our way up, the restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. The pure excitement of seeing Bangkok gives way to forgetting the entrance challenges! The setting and interior design is very stylish and elegant. Most tables were facing the large windows and for those wanting to explore further you can go outside for the selfie or after dinner go upstairs to explore more views and the sky bar! The menu is modern and is a fine dining style, but portions are generally very generous and overall very tasty BUT very high priced. We went the evening before to the excellent Issaya Club which was great and prices were about half of what we spent at Ojo. Wines by the glass on average were THB100 plus more and main courses a minimum of THB1800. It’s a special occasion place and ideal to take visitors to show Bangkok from the top of the world! So why not 5 stars…..value for money simply did not match up when there are soo many great restaurants in Bangkok that offer value and tasty food, but Ojo has simply stunning views!! Enjoy

The restaurant itself is undeniably beautiful and visually impressive. Unfortunately, that is where any Michelin-level experience ends. The service does not meet even a higher standard, let alone the level expected from a restaurant that has repeatedly received Michelin recognition. We were a group of six people — three women and three men of different age groups. We received only four menus, and only three of them contained the actual menu. The waitress first handed a menu to the oldest woman and then proceeded directly to the men, which felt highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Drinks were brought one by one by hand directly from the bar, instead of being served together. Water was poured in a very awkward manner — the waitress stood between the guests to avoid walking around the table and poured water to one guest from the right side and to another from the left. Cutlery was placed inconsistently: some guests received two pieces on the left side of the plate, others on the right. I have never experienced such a chaotic and inappropriate style of service in any other restaurant. The worst part of the evening was the payment. As it was our last day in Bangkok, we wanted to use our remaining cash. While we were counting the money at the table, the waitress stood over us, watching our banknotes closely and did not allow us the space to count calmly. This behavior was extremely uncomfortable and impolite. After the payment, she returned claiming that 1000 THB was missing, which was not true. In reality, the difference was only 100 THB. The situation was further complicated by the fact that the waitress did not speak English at all, which is unacceptable in a restaurant with international clientele. This poor service significantly ruined the overall dining experience. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional and certainly not memorable enough to make us want to return. I have heard that in Bangkok there are restaurants with “purchased” Michelin titles — and unfortunately, this restaurant feels like one of them.

Celebrated a birthday dinner here. Food and drinks were fantastic. I highly recommend the BOB cocktail, as well as the iberico pork and fish dishes for the mains. Beautiful restaurant and great ambience. Great service from Reindeer and Tuatia who were able to recommend dishes according to our preferences! The only note is that access to sky bar is complimentary for restaurant patrons spending more than 12,500 baht in the total bill, or can be purchased separately.
