Rafael Goyeneche's 1938 heritage facade on Paseo de la Reforma is preserved below a 40-storey glass tower, the interiors drawing on pre-Hispanic geometry and Luis Barragán's Mexican modernist palette to create the boulevard's most architecturally intelligent luxury hotel.
